Meet the Team

      The Owner - Jenny

I'm a mum of 3 and began the business 6 years ago so I could work around the children, especially Marissa (16) who's disabled. Marissa was diagnosed at 18 months with brain damage then followed by other health issues with the latest diagnosis of Autism. If you have been in our shop or to a workshop you may have met her. I began my sewing journey for some "me time" and it soon grew into the business you see today.

The Manager - Fiona

As a mum of 2 Autistic children I joined Sewilicious to help Jenny as the business had gone from strength to strength she needed a right hand man ( well woman) and I needed to be able to be flexible for my children too. As Jenny's best friend we would sew together at her dining room table and I have been with her through out her journey.

My role is Internet & marketing as well as designing and teaching some of our workshops. Spending Jenny's money is something else I am really good at, I love shopping for the new fabrics and stock we get in.

 The Handyman - Scott

Well some would say I am the general dogs body! I am married to Fiona and work full time, but on my days off I volunteer at Sewilicious to help with the DIY. (make tea, hoover, clean, wash up, stock take, sew items for display, make lunch, go to the shop, go down the cellar, & annoy Jenny! )

I do enjoy sewing too and you can see some of my quilts at the shop. Needle felting is another hobby of mine and I help out with the workshops too.

The Girls - Nat & Kira

We have been volunteering at Sewilicious for a couple of years helping with the workshops, shop and the internet. Nat's mum is Fiona and I (kira) am engaged to Nat, we enjoy helping as it gets us out the house. Nat is autistic and I care for her so this gives us somewhere to go that she feels comfortable.
